Israeli optical component start-up iamba Networks Inc. has closed its latest funding round, raising $7 million from its existing investors, Cedar Fund, Giza Venture Capital, Kreos Capital, and Pitango Venture Capital. Iamba was founded in 2000, and has raised $32 million to date.
Iamba specializes in Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON) solutions for telephony companies seeking to increase bandwidth to private customers over existing networks.
