WASP co Volas expects $1m revenue in new Italian deal

The wireless application service provider signed a contract with Wind Telecomunicazioni.

Volas Entertainment Ltd. Expects to earn $1 million revenue over the next three years from its contract with Italy's third largest wireless operator Wind Telecomunicazioni SpA. Volas is a wireless application service provider (WASP), enabling Wind subscribers access to the company's cellular portal.
The Wind deal is Volas's third contract in Italy, following similar contracts with Vodafone Italia SpA and Telecom Italia SpA (NYSE: TI; Milan: TIT). Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL) content manager Logia Group Ltd. Recently acquired half of Volas. Volas' CEO is Doron Cohen.
