Israeli Fintech September 2014: Major Finding and Analysis
The Fintech Report we have been working on in the past few weeks is ready, and we are happy to share some of the major findings and highlights revealed in the report
Life Sciences Sector Overview
Medical device companies accounted for 57 percent of life science investments in 2013. This compared with the previous year when the sub-sector led investments with a 63 percent share. Pharmaceuticals followed with 35 percent, an increase from 25 percent in 2012. Biotech investments attracted only 1 percent of all capital raised in the life sciences, compared with 5 percent in 2012. Other life science companies attracted 7 percent in 2013, as in the previous year.

Israeli cyber security company CyberArk Software Ltd. (Nasdaq:CYBR) raised $85.8 million last Wednesday on Nasdaq at a company value of $473 million. The company sold 5.36 million shares at $16 per share, above the planned range of $13-15.
