TECHNOLOGY

NVision's quantum-based hyperpolarization device ("polarizer") is placed next to an existing MRI scanner. The polarizer takes metabolites natural to the body and uses quantum dynamics to increase their MRI signal. Once these safe metabolites have been injected into a patient, due to the huge signal, tumor metabolism - including also the reaction of tumors to treatment - is visible in the MRI and can be assessed quantitatively. With its processing speed, robustness and ease of use, NVision provides the first scalable solution for hyperpolarized metabolic MRI that is compatible with clinical practice.
