DESCRIPTION

The etventure Startup Hub connects established companies with startups, researchers and political decision makers by giving access to large innovation ecosystems (in Europe, USA and Tel Aviv). Based on expertise in startup building and startup ecosystems, we also run a company builder and lead large innovation projects funded by the European Commission (H2020 Horizon).

The program lasts 8 months where Startups will develop wide-ranging business skills aligned with their needs through dedicated coaching and mentoring activities. The companies will also benefit from the strong network of supporters, business experts and other startups involved in the FI-PPP program. The program does not provide a co-working space. Companies will continue to operate where they are already established and will be part of the team – remotely. The accelerator will provide the infrastructure to guarantee effective communication and exchange of best practices throughout the program and program directors will visit the Startups whenever they need support.

etventure Startup Hub is one of 16 programmes across Europe fostering innovative businesses on the basis of breakthrough FIWARE Future Internet technologies over the next two years. The accelerator is led by Berlin-based startup builder etventure in partnership with technology expert partner Fraunhofer IAIS (Germany), ThoughtBox (Ireland), Weblify (Poland) and F-Secure (Finland).
