DESCRIPTION

OPEC (Open University Entrepreneurship Club) is run for students and graduates entrepreneurs. The OPEC forum is a meeting to give support to Open University graduates. The meetings are composed of three parts. The first is a round table forum with early stage companies pitching their ideas with constructive feedback from branders, investors and VC's. The second part includes a networking session. Part three, the main event, are lectures given by top entrepreneurs, venture capital investors and professionals. OPEC is responsible for a number of startups receiving financial capital from its network events. Additionally, OPEC offers free workshops on a needed basis usually once per month with an increase of workshops over the summer.
