NFT is an innovative aerospace/automotive startup developing a new brand for the flying car market : affordable door-to-door drive & fly autonomous commuter transportation solutions that operate in the airspace above cities (3rd dimension).
NFT is currently developing an autonomous multi-modal electric zero emission and advance hybrid system eVTOL (Vertical Landing and Takeoff) / passenger flying car, with two seats or 4 seats, that can carry passengers to their destination (“last mile”).
NFT developed ASKA™ with a team of engineering experts with vast experience in aeronautical and autonomous AI systems, including the development of the most advanced unmanned air vehicles in Israel and the US.

TECHNOLOGY

Autonomous commuter transportation solutions , Powered by electric propulsion and an advance extended system, the vehicle will be capable of vertical takeoff and landing. Agile and adapted for cities, the NFT eVTOL drives like a comfortable, compact family car and can be easily parked on the street or in a garage. At your command, the vehicle lifts off vertically and safely flies like an airplane, with a pilot or autonomously.

ASKA™ is equipped with a number of different sensors for creating a spherical awareness picture using sophisticated sensor fusion algorithms based on machine learning. Our situation awareness is dynamic and includes trajectory predictions for moving objects in spherical nearness to ASKA™; this enables our decision-making algorithms to provide the right decisions for the local path planner and to fly the vehicle in a safe way. The autonomous system is based on COTS affordable hardware and suitable for different VTOL platforms.

The Aska, which means “flying bird” in Japanese, looks like a sleek, futuristic vehicle with wings stored on its roof that unfold to about 40 feet (12 meters) when in flying mode. It will be able to take off vertically and fly autonomously – no pilot required – for a range of up to 150 miles (240 kilometers)
