In Q1–Q3/2022, Israeli high-tech companies raised $12.3 billion in 538 deals. In Q3/2022, $2.6 billion were raised in 143 deals. The numbers for the first nine months of 2022 show the extent of the slowdown in almost all parts of the Israeli tech economy, except in early-stage companies.

Most Active Funds


Annual survey produced in collaboration with Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co. Law Firm based on the IVC online database and information provided by participating VC funds, ranking the most active Israeli venture capital funds. This annual IVC survey carefully researches and grades the most active Israeli venture capital funds, based on first investments, reviews deals performed by Israeli and by foreign VC funds, funds who are raising capital, what their targets are, and how far along they are in the process.
2020 Most Active Funds
In 2020, there was an increase in the number of Israeli venture capital funds and an increase in the diversity of types of funds. New types of investment models such as growth funds and academic funds, cater the diverse demand on the part of start-ups.
Further more, we saw an increase in VC funds activity, despite the restrictions and difficulties during the epidemic. This increase reflects the resilience of the Israeli tech ecosystem as a leading sector in the Israeli economy.
